Square to Square Charity Cycle Challenge
In May 2005 a team of firefighters cycled 1,004 miles each from St Thomas' Square, Newport, Isle of Wight, UK to The Old Town Square, Prague, Czech Republic, raising £10,000 for local charities.

Another team of firefighters are now planning to cycle from St Thomas' Square, Newport, Isle of Wight, UK to The Vatican Square, Italy, with the aim of raising £25,00 for the Wessex Cancer Trust, Isle of Wight.

In August 2007 BECO webdesign re-designed the Square to Square Charity Cycle Challenge website to base on and to reflect the branding designed for the event by the team at BECO studio.

BECO webdesign have created the website to allow team organisers and support crew to update the website themselves.

Wessex Cancer Trust - Isle of Wight
The Isle of Wight group of the Wessex Cancer Trust are a devoted group of volunteers who provide support, guidance and care to Isle of Wight cancer patients and their families.

The group also raise thousands of pounds annually to fund the support and care.

In August 2007 BECO webdesign designed a website for the group to allow them to publicise their fundraising events and information to Isle of Wight residents.

BECO webdesign provided full training for staff at the Wessex Cancer Trust Headquarters in Southampton so they are able to update the website themselves.

Andy Butler Sports Ground Specialist
Andy Butler has an established reputation for providing a high quality service for sports ground maintenance.

His website was created several years ago and has achieved a high organic ranking on Google.

To reflect his increasing diversity into other areas of sports ground maintenance, which now includes golf courses and bowling greens, a full website re-design is currently in development to reflect the expanding ground maintenance servies available. Cowes Holiday Lets commissioned BECO Webdesign to re-design their website in April 2007.

The re-designed website allows the client, Chris Torrens of Cowes Holiday Lets, to update the website himself; not only content of existing pages, but also to create addtional pages. The re-design ensured the design retained the accessibility standards, which ensures the site complies with legal requirements, as well as having commercial benefits for the website.

Skipper Charter Associates have their online presence established after commissioning BECO Webdesign to complete a website.

The website was completed during February 2007 and it included the commissioning of a logo design by BECO DPW. Consultation with the principal associate of Skipper Charter Associates, John Stannett, resulted in a detailed brief for the design of the logo and branding for Skipper Charter Associates.

The resulting work allowed for the subsequent creation of a suitable website design.

Fire Service Merger - Fire Brigades Union, Isle of Wight Branch
The Isle of Wight Branch of the Fire Brigades Union required a website to assist with their join campaign with UNISON in opposing the suggested option of a merger between the Isle of Wight fire and Rescue Service and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A website was created to assist the FBU in making impartial information available to the public, in an easy and accessible format via the site: www.fireservicemerger.com

Lavender Room
The range of complimenary therapy skills offered by Trish Wendes is ever expanding and her website was created to show what is avaialble.

Her website has a minor makeover during late 2006, with a new website in development for completion in the spring of 2007; www.lavenderroom.co.uk

Cowes Sports Football Club
Cowes Sports Football Club have ensured an online presence for several years.

This has continued over the past three years with a successful, regularly updated website.

The football club's website underwent a re-design in mid 2006 in preparation for the 2006/07 season, as well as ensuring accessibility issues were addressed. The website consists of over 800 pages and receives approximately 3,500 visitors per month: www.cowessportsfc.com
