Re-designed Cowes Holiday Lets website goes online

Cowes Holiday Lets have their re-designed website go live following several months of website re-design work by BECO webdesign.

The previous website was re-designed and developed further by BECO DPW Ltd..

Following consultation with Chris Torrens of Cowes Holiday Lets, who offers accommodation for all of the major sailing and yachting events on the Solent, the complete re-design of the website took place.

The re-designed website has been constructed to allow the client to update the site with content himself.

Cowes Holiday Lets are able to offer self catering accommodation in Cowes, whether for visitors to the Isle of Wight or crews for the main sailing and yachting events on the Solent (including Cowes Week, Swan European Regatta, Beneteau Cup, the Round the Island Race, Powerboat Championships, Little Britain Cup, Silicon Cup and Classic Yacht Regatta).

The website design included the addtiional sections for news items (which will be able to be created and udpated by the client) and additional pages for accommodation details specific to the sailing and powerboating events. Also, the design of the website ensured that accessibility standards were met.

The website design was completed in April 2007, with careful consideration for the layout and maintaining the easy navigation and simplicity of the website.

Full and intensive training was provided to the client to ensure he felt competent in updating the website.
